At Salisbury Orthodontics, we have an NHS contract which means dentists can refer you for NHS treatment if you meet certain criteria.
Anyone under the age of 18 is eligible for a free NHS consultation with a specialist orthodontist. A thorough examination of the teeth and jaws will be carried out and you will have your diagnosis and treatment options explained to you.
NHS orthodontics is available to everyone under 18 who requires orthodontic treatment for dental health reasons such as severe crowding or prominent teeth.
Appointments can only be made after you have been referred to us by your dentist. Please ask your dentist to refer you by using our Referral Form.
Once we receive a referral from your dentist, we will send you an acknowledgement and then you will be in our system and we will contact you when we are ready to see you. We are only allowed to see a set number of NHS patients every year, so there may be a wait until we can see you for your initial consultation.
NHS treatment is carried out by our expert team of specialist orthodontists and orthodontic therapists. Appointments are available between 9am and 5pm.
If you do not qualify for NHS treatment, then we will discuss treatment on a private basis. We offer affordable brace treatments for patients of any age with plenty of payment plans available to choose from.
