Once you have your beautifully straight smile, we can truly make it a smile you can be proud of. Many people choose to have their teeth whitened once they have been straightened to really get the “Wow” factor.
Our teeth naturally lose their whiteness over time. Our diet is partly to blame as certain foods can stain our teeth, especially coffee and tea. Also, as we get older, our teeth normally become more yellow.
Whitening uses a safe chemical reaction to brighten the teeth through breaking down stain molecules. Over the course of the treatment, the whitening gel breaks down more and more stains, effectively bleaching the teeth.
We use Pola Night home whitening kits to achieve a brighter smile. We can use our 3D scanner to create your bespoke whitening trays. These look a lot like retainers and are used to hold the whitening gel. You then wear the mouth trays at night when you sleep.
Treatment generally takes two weeks to reach your final shade. We advise that you keep hold of your mouth trays as your teeth will still be susceptible to stains after the treatment. You can ask for top-up gels and reuse your mouth trays when you start to notice your smile losing its whiteness.
